What is your role at Thermocoax?
“I am the managing director, so I’ve been in charge of the full activity of Thermocoax and Thermocoax means two companies, mainly one company in France, a French company based in Normandy, and a second one in the USA based in Atlanta.”
What do you like the most in this function?
“It’s about leading an important company for an important group. What I like about this job is that it is a new mission for me. I started four months ago. What I like really much is that we are talking here about ultra critical applications for heating and control and instrumentation which is very exciting.”
What is Thermocoax’s biggest advantage ?
“Several things. I think it’s first, our strategy. And our customer approach. We are in a very demanding market in terms of product quality, etc. Our market is growing very quickly, strongly, and we have a very solid engineering team, very solid supply chain production and quality department, which makes a difference, in addition to the sales team. Market share is growing
“Today we are expecting growth in the coming years because our target markets are nuclear, semiconductor industry and aerospace and defense. Those three businesses are booming. So our market share, let’s say it’s maybe a single digit. What has recently changed at Thermocoax?
“We moved to one building in Normandy, which is important. We moved from four buildings to one building, so that means we changed our organization design. We’ve changed our business units, we’ve changed our flows and we are more efficient now. And we are more sustainable because we are working to it. In addition to our sales strategy, we have a one planet strategy to implement.”
